Rooms in our house are predominantly for the “active” members. Other necessary in house facilities include a laundry room and a WLAN, common areas and rooms, a kitchen, showers and bathrooms, all of which are located on the so-called “residential level” on the first floor representing our private sphere.

Rooms range from 11 square meters to 25 square meters and contain bed, closet and a desk. Additional furnishings may be moved in by the occupant. Usually, after four semesters, the rooms vacated when the occupant becomes an “inactive” member. Often pieces of furniture are left behind for use by the new active occupant.

Inactive members usually have no organizational or other formal obligations so that they can pursue their studies without encumbrances. Information regarding vacant rooms, rental cost etc can be obtained here.
